Pre-incubation Program

For students and first-time founders needing initial guidance to validate ideas.

TIU STEP focuses on nurturing innovation across diverse domains including artificial intelligence and machine learning, clean and green technologies, healthcare and MedTech, smart agriculture and food technology, IoT and robotics, Industry 4.0 solutions, EdTech and digital platforms, sustainable urban innovations, and creative industries such as design and media technology.

Funding Support

Category I: Idea-to-Prototype Grant

For innovators working on proof-of-concept or early-stage prototypes. Funding up to ₹1 lakh.

Category II: Prototype-to-Product Grant

For teams developing a minimum viable product (MVP) ready for testing and refinement. Funding up to ₹2.5 lakh.

Category III: Product-to-Market Grant

For startups preparing to launch and scale in the market, including support for initial go-to-market activities. Funding up to ₹5 lakh.

Applying to TIU STEP is simple and open to all eligible innovators. Interested applicants must submit an online application detailing their idea, team profile, and potential impact. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to present before our STEP Advisory Committee.

Step 4: Regular progress review and milestone-based funding disbursement.
